Drifting

The driving technique of Drifting was born in Japan in the 1970s with the bold driving style of Kunimitsu Takahashi who inspired an entire generation of Japanese pilots. Among these drivers is Keiichi Tsuchiya, who, by defining precise techniques and rules, manages to shape a new automotive discipline that quickly conquers the whole world.
The Castelletto Circuit lends itself perfectly to the practice of this activity, to the point that in the world of Drifting, the Castelletto Circuit is nicknamed with the acronym "Brandisu" (born from the union of "Branduzzo" and "Ebisu") to mean the evident resemblance to the Ebisu circuit in Japan, a real Mecca of Drifting.
Small curiosity: perhaps not everyone knows that Nobushige Kumakubo, founder and owner of the well-known Ebisu circuit, with his Team Orange, which includes the pilot and instructor Naoto Suenaga, have spent several days of training at the Castelletto Circuit in view of the Motorshow of Bologna in 2011.
In addition, we also remember that many stages of the Italian and European Championships were held in Castelletto.
